Some Ghanaians in South Africa are pleading with the Nana Addo-led government to with immediate effect come to their rescue after another round of xenophobic attacks on Africans has left five dead and several shops torched.
Gaili Abdulai in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ said Ghanaians in South Africa are “frustrated” after describing the country is “hell”.
Human rights groups and several African governments have expressed worry that the South African government is doing little to deal with the xenophobic rage.
South Africa President, Cyril Ramaphosa has refused to call the attacks xenophobic describing it as 'anti-foreigner violence'.
