The general public has been asked to be careful when buying fish from the market.
Unwholesome tilapia which were buried by an aquaculture company at Mpakadan, in the Eastern region have found its way back to town after some residents dug them out.
Henry Kwabena Kokofu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in an interview on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ said even though he believes the unwholesome fish has not yet travelled out of the district; the general public must be careful.
“The situation is under control; Some have been arrested but we urge the public to be on the lookout…” he indicated.
