Hundreds of Muslims drawn from the various districts of the Brong-Ahafo Region on Friday converged at the Sunyani Coronation Park to celebrate this year's Eid-Ul-Adha.

Led by Mr. Suallah Abdallah Quandah, secretary at the office of the regional chief Imam, Alhaji Umar Abdul-Kadir, the gathering prayed for the President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, the Vice President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, Members of Parliament, Judiciary, Municipal, Metropolitan and District Chief Executives for God's guidance and blessing.

Mr. Suallah said the development of Ghana depended on all and sundry irrespective of one's political affiliation and appealed to Ghanaians to bury all religious differences and unite for a common goal.

Mr. Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo, Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, on behalf of the government presented a ram, a bull, several bag of rice and unspecified sum of money to support the celebration.
