The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has noted with grave concern video
recordings doing the rounds on various media platforms depicting verbal attacks including
falsehoods by Rev. Owusu Bempah on its 1st Vice President, the Apostle General Sam Korankye
Ankrah over what the former considers an attack against him in recent teachings by the Apostle
General in his Church on “Prophecies, Projections, Predictions, Manipulations and Magic.”
Rev. Owusu Bempah in the said video clip used some unprintable words and total falsehoods on
the Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah.
As Rev. Owusu Bempah himself admitted in his reaction, the Apostle General did not mention his
name in his teachings. We are therefore, at a loss in understanding why Rev. Owusu Bempah
thinks the Apostle General was referring to him.
We wish to bring to the attention of the general public that from our own investigations as a
Council, all the allegations of bleaching and lewdness leveled against the Apostle General are
blatant falsehoods.
The Apostle General has not resided in or attended any of the places and schools Rev. Owusu Bempah mentioned in his reaction. Those who know the Apostle General’sfamily know that three out of his four children are fair. Does it mean that, he injects and gives tablets to his children also to give them their fair colour? As for the accusation of sexual impropriety, that must be a figment of Rev. Owusu Bempah’s imagination.
While admitting that the Apostle General is human, we of the leadership of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council can vouch for his sexual and moral integrity and therefore challenge Rev. Owusu Bempah to name and/or produce the many girlfriends he claims the Apostle General is keeping.
As Rev. Owusu Bempah himself said in his reaction, he should rather be picking issues with the
journalists and media houses who decided to post his picture alongside the Apostle General’s
teaching videos.
The Apostle General has no hands at all in those posts and publications.
We wish to point out that the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) and its
honourable National Executive Council (NEC) members have no personal grudges against Rev.
Owusu Bempah but will not sit by and allow anybody to unjustifiably sling mud against any of its
members.
In view of the foregoing, the Council in the Spirit of good Christian conduct, advises Rev. Owusu
Bempah to retract and apologize.

Is this how Jesus Christ would have address this matter? I believe no because even me I won't have responded the way this group responded. The response does not address the issue and does not depict the moral of unity and love rather it is justifying and backing one member of a group against another man from probably another group. So what happens if the group Owusu Bempah is part of also come out to defend him and call on Korankyi Ankrah to apologize to Owusu Bempah? When we see things like this all I can say is ALL TRUE CHRISTIAN NEED TO INTENSIFY THEIR PRAYERS AGAINST THE ENEMY.
Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING. Don't wait for the 'snake' to bite before you treat the wound. Rather, clear the weeds to ward off the 'snake' if any. What policies have drawn and presented to government as a measure to check some of these 'you do me, i do you'. Please WAKE UP! When you caution the 'mouse', please do not forget to 'advice' the cat. The Christendom in the country needs policies to sanitize the system, NOT VERBAL WAR.
but we all know ALL THE "BEMPAHS" IN THIS COUNTRY ARE HOLDING THE DEGREE OF INDISCIPLINE, LIES, DECIET,PULL HIM DOWN (PHD). AND THEY ARE ALWAYS USING THIS DEGREE IN DESTROYING, CREATING FALSE PROPHECIES, CREATING INDISCIPLINE IN OUT NATION GHANA. WE ALL KNOW REV. BEMPAS IS NOTHING BUT A LIER,LIER,HE IS ONLY GOOD AT GIVING FALSE PROPHETS....
Aaah, These so-called bishops and Most bishops, are they living in this country? Have they listened to and watched that "sermon" from Korankyi Ankrah? for me both of them are fake; they are not courteous in their use of words and are a reproach to Christianity. but why should one be asked to apologise?
Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic council members are all renowned men of God but I do not like their response simply because Rev Owusu Bempah is not a member of the council. They should have asked both pastors to render apology to all Christians for lowering the image of the Christian faith. Casting insinuations ans aspersions always create problems. It is a fact and also on record that it was Owusu Bempah who said a former vice president will die if he does not seek the guidance from God. Rev Sam Korankye used that prophecy in his sermon hence the respond from him. Also the press wrongly put the photograph of Owusu Bempah beside the story. The GPCC should also condemn their own (Sam Korankye)because God does not judge by the colour of your skin. The GPCC should sit up and set code of ethics for all Pastors, evangelists, prophet etc to abide by them.Anybody who goes contrary should be summon before them and reprimand them seriously.
I blamed Kofi TV in the first place. Why should he interviewed Owusu Bempeh twice? this media people should be very careful before they set our dear country ablaze with their unprofessionalism.
How can a man who called himself a bishop have such thing come from his mouth?
Much as I do not have anything against the GPCC asking for an unqualified apology from Owusu Bembah, the council must also insist Rev Ankrah does the same to those he accused of being false prophets. He called the first shot. Both edges of the cutlass must be made to cut equally. God is no respector of persons
