The communities are Onyinase, Kenten, Old Anyinabrem, Kokroko, Twimia-Nkwanta, Bamiri junction and Zongo Local Authority School area.
Mr. Bernard Adjei, Acting Municipal Coordinator who led some officials of the organization to visit the flood prone areas, said about 100 houses faced serious flooding during rainy season.
In this regard, he said, NADMO with support from the municipal assembly had organised educational exercises to educate the people on how to manage floods.
Mr. Adjei mentioned illegal sand winning, poor drainage system, stagnant water and heavy erosion as some factors that contributed to flooding.
Most of the landlords told the GNA that they acquired their building plots during the dry season and did not observe any possibility of flooding.
