Twenty organisations in Tema, on Wednesday, donated various items towards the Farmers' Day celebration in the Metropolis, slated for Friday, December four.
The items are 20 motor bicycles, two refrigerators and two television sets. The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority; UT Logistics; PZ; Tema Lube Oil Company; and the Shippers Council are as some of the donors.
Mr Robert Kempes Papa Nii Ofosuware, Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, received the items and thanked the institutions for the gesture.
The ceremony in the Metropolis would be held at Klagon near Ashaiman, while the National celebration would be held at the Jubilee Park in Tamale.
The theme for the celebration, the 27th so far, is:"Accelerated Agricultural Modernisation for Food Security and Economic Transformation."
