Dormaa Circuit Court presided by Mr. Alexander Osei-Tutu has sentenced Bismarck Badu, a 23 year old farm labourer, to two years imprisonment for stealing three poultry fowls from his neighbours farm at Nkrankwanta in Dormaa Municipality.
Badu pleaded guilty and was convicted upon his own plea.
Police Inspector George Kumah told the Court that the complainant, a poultry farmer, shared common boundary with another farmer on whose farm Badu was engaged as a farm labourer.
He said on January four, this year, the complainant engaged the services of Badu on his farm but the convict entered the poultry farm of the other farmer and stole three fowls.
A witness who caught him red-handed raised the alarm and had him arrested.
The Prosecutor said Badu admitted his guilt in a caution statement to the Police.
