Ghana has been cited in an illegal arms deal with a British national convicted for brokering a deal between the government of Ghana and China for the supply of fighter jets.
The jets were procured for the Ghana Armed Forces six years ago.
The deal had been under investigation by His Majesty�s Revenue and Customs Authority since 2007.
The British Court found that the arms dealer Christopher McDowell supplied the jets to Ghana without license and has been sentenced to a-two-year jail term, Joy News has learnt.
