A vehicle conveying a dead body from the mortuary to the funeral grounds caught fire at Agona Abodom in the Central Region after involving in an accident.
Seven Mourners and a Roman Catholic Priest were said to be in the car when it caught fire.
The Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. John Kofi Yeboah, as well as four others who have not yet been identified were all burnt to death.
Speaking on Peace FM, Fiifi Davies a correspondent, however indicated that two occupants managed to escape and were taken to the Ajumako Government Hospital where they have been treated and discharged.
The charred bodies of the deceased, three females and two males, including the Rev. Father, have been deposited at the morgue.
