10 Police officers have been interdicted whilst 13 others are under Service Inquiry for their involvement in various acts of misconduct.

This was made known at the Police Press Conference at the Police Headquarters in Accra on Friday.

According to the Police Service, DSP Adjei Nimo was interdicted for Visa fraud, Inspector Edward Kwesi Kwakye, Chief Superintendent Joseph Obeng, Corporal Brimah, Inspector Richard Jugbe Adjei, Inspector Senyo Amoayo and Corporal Victor Jeremiah Gaisie have all been interdicted for enlistment fraud.

The Police Service also revealed that its investigations into alleged brutalities against some alleged land guards by its officers in May at the Cantonments have revealed that the Officers acted unprofessionally.

The Police were captured on video brutally assaulting the suspects in their bid to quell a disturbance over a piece of property at the Switchback road.

The Police administration added that it is bent on ensuring that its personnel act with the highest form of professionalism.
