The Volta River Authority (VRA) says the load shedding may not end anytime soon as repair works on power plants across the country are not yet complete.
The VRA has had to undertake repair works on its power plants at Takoradi, the Sunon Asogli power plant and other plants that produce power to the national grid.
This comes as electricity consumers in some parts of Accra accuse ECG of not adhering to the load management timetable.
Head of Communications at the Volta River Authority, Sam Fletcher, in an interview with Joynews, said there are technical problems with power generation even as gas supply is adequate.
