A tipper truck with registration number GR 5426 U, last Monday, crashed into a saloon car and landed on the front half of another at the traffic lights near the AP Filling Station on the Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in Accra.
The truck, which was heading in the direction of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, initially crashed into a Pontiac Vibe saloon car with registration number GR 447 14, which was approaching the traffic lights from the TUC area.
In the course of the accident, one of the front wheels of the truck landed on the bonnet of a Toyota saloon car with registration number GW 4148 Z, which was parked at the filling station.
Luckily, the driver of the Toyota saloon car was not in the vehicle.
The truck driver and the driver of the Pontiac Vibe saloon car sustained injuries and were sent to hospital for treatment.
