President John Dramani Mahama appears to have broken the Foreign Ministrys directive restricting Ghanaians from attending International Conferences for three months.
He has called for an emergency meeting in his capacity as chairman of the Economic Community Of West African States(ECOWAS) for health experts in the sub-region to discuss solutions to the deadly Ebola disease.
This call by President Mahama contravenes the Foreign Ministrys ban on international conferences as he is expected to host delegates from Ebola plagued nations such as Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria.
However, government is yet to confirm whether it will be screening delegates before allowing them to enter the country(Ghana).
