The doctor at the centre of a sodomy case Dr. Sulley Ali Gabass has been remanded in police custody until November 7.
A Cocoa Affairs Court ordered his remand to give the investigators more time to probe the case which involves alleged anal sex with a 16-year-old boy.
The beleaguered doctor, who is alleged to have had unnatural sex with the teenager on several occasions is standing trial for sodomy.
According to Starr News, the demeanor of the doctor was one of calmness and he gave pockets of smiles to the curious public who had come to the court premises to catch a glimpse of him.
Dr Ali Gabass, who is a senior staff of the Effia Nkwanta Hospital in Takoradi in the Western region, is on suspension until the case is over.
