On behalf of the judicial service, Chief Justice of Ghana, Lady Justice Mrs.Georgina Theodora Wood, has heeded to a call by the minister of Local Government and Rural Development to implement sanitation bye-laws.
She made this known when Hon. Julius Debrah, visited her to notify the judicial arm of government of the National Sanitation Day and bring them on board.
According to the Chief Justice, it saddens her to see Ghana rated amongst countries with poor sanitation systems in the world and revealed the judiciarys preparedness to actively participate in the campaign aimed at ridding the country of filth.
