Vivian Bayor, the Mother of a murdered six-year-old girl in Penkwase, old Abesim a suburb of Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region, has vowed to avenge her daughter�s death.
According to the�Brong Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Christopher�Tawiah, the deceased Ama Dora, went missing on the morning of Saturday, November 21, and was found on Monday buried on a local school compound in Penkwase, old Abesim in Sunyani following a search by residents of the community.
Her body was found after the assemblyman in the area sanctioned a search for her on Sunday.
The cause of her death is yet to be established but the police say they do not suspect ritual murder since all her body parts were intact.�
In an interview with Citi FM, the distraught mother of Ama Dora said �I am only waiting for the police to release the body to me after their investigations and I will make sure I will avenge her death.��
She added that �whoever did this must also follow her to the grave. I don�t care even if I have to invoke her spirit.�
Meanwhile, the Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Command has begun investigations into the alleged murder of the six-year-old whose body has been deposited at the regional Police Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
