Speaking at a short ceremony to present the items, Madam Obuobia Darko-Opoku said valentine's day was not only about going out to wine and dine with partners but rather a moment to demonstrate love and compassion to the poor and the less privilege in the society.
She also stated that her decision to donate the 15,000 litre poly tank to the Ga South Municipal Hospital was because of the difficulties the health facility authorities go through to access water to run the facility, which has come to her attention.
She further stressed that with the presence of the polytank the plight of both the patients and the health officials would be minimized.
On her part, Deputy Director of the Ga South Municipal Hospital in charge of nursing Madam Joyce Opoku, who received the donations on behalf of the hospital told the media that formerly the hospital spends about GHC 1,000 every month to buy water, a situation which put a lot of stress on the finances of the hospital.

She said, on behalf of the hospital they appreciate the kind gesture by the NDC parliamentary candidate and are proud of her benevolence. She also entreated others to emulate the numerous supports being made by Madam Obuobia Darko-Opoku for the progress and effectiven development of the constituency and the hospital.
