Mr Ernest Brew, District Secretary of the Ghana Apostolic Church, Galilea Congregation, has advised Christians to give Bibles as gifts to their loved ones, saying, it was one way of expanding the gospel.
He said presenting bibles as gift would help lovers to study the bible and become spiritually strong and it would also help them against satanic influences.
Mr Brew who is an Elder of the Church said this in a sermon to mark this year’s Bible Week celebrations.
He said Christians were ambassadors of Christ and urged them to make spreading of the gospel their serious business.
He urged all Christians to serve God and the nation devotedly and selflessly, adding " We should respect authority, be faithful in all our dealings at work and in our marriages".
