Apart from a vehicle breaking down on the road, what usually make journey on highways uncomfortable is armed robbery attack.
However, passengers on board an Urvan bus from Kumasi to Tarkwa had a hectic time as a swarm of bees attacked them this dawn.
It is unclear what might have triggered the attack described as a ‘hive war’.
Eyewitness in an interview on Adom News said, the incident occurred at Bawdie near Bogoso in the Western region.
According to him, the aggressive bees stung and seriously injured many of the passengers onboard the bus.
“Most of the passengers after the attack had swollen faces due to the multiple bee stings” he stated.
The injured passengers added, were rushed to a near by hosptial for medical attention.
