Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has said there are several leads that the Police can follow up to arrest the murderers of his partner Ahmed Hussein Suale.
Ahmed Husein was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck by gunmen on motorbike in Madina, Accra while driving home on Wednesday night.
The Homicide Unit of the Police Service has commenced investigations to unravel circumstances leading to the murder. The Investigators numbering 15 have picked vital information from the crime scene and are speaking to eyewitnesses.
Some eye witnesses who spoke to Kasapafmonline.com stated that they saw the unidentified assailants lurking around the neighborhood on a motorbike hours before he was killed.
Anas Aremeyaw Anas told the BBC that there were threats on the life of Ahmed Hussein Suale following the broadcast of the #12 documentary that exposed deep seated corruption in Ghana football.
“There were death threats some made openly and some made against us which we tendered to the Police during the #12 documentary for investigation. We have to be careful murder is about proving beyond reasonable doubt. I guess these are the leads that the law enforcement officers will look at and if there’s in any merit in it.”
Ahmed was one of Tiger Eye investigators who had his picture circulated by Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong in his ‘who watches the watchman’ anti-Anas video documentary and called on the public to deal ruthlessly with him whenever they came into contact with him, and promised monetary reward for the perpetrators.

If we are accusing Anna's because he was quick to accuse Kennedy, can we also accuse Kennedy for killing JB Danqah because he was also quick in accusing Stand Dogbe of murdering JB without any evidence. Let us be careful because it could happen to anyone of us.
Brother Anas, do not bother yourself with these paid NPP people are saying, they are rather doing this to cover their tracks, don't forget that one of their own said "All die be die" sometime ago, that is what we are seeing now.
Stop making reference to Ken Agyarpong as a prime suspect. i quiet remember during that time when Ken show who watches the watchman, Kweku Baako and he Anas said the pictures Ken as show is Anas's picture or anyone affiliated with Tiger PI...
This Anas guy is the prime suspect,he is talking too much. Why he is pointing figure on Ken whiles the police is there. I believe he killed the guy, they might be having some trust issues.
This guy shd be a suspect. He is trying to distract investigators. Believe me this will not go anywhere if the investigators are only looking at the threats angle. This may not be related to his work. But since they have turned their work into blackmailing ple it could be that this is an inside job or a job from one of their victims. They have done too much ev1l to others.
Police please watch Anas well.
police should monitor the posture and behavior of Anas in this case very well. they should not allow him to distract their attention. they should do a thorough work and I think they have to caution him to stop what he's doing. he's not a security expect. I trust the security will do a good and professional job but then the pre-emption attitude of Anas is becoming too much. if anything at all the police know how to place suspect on certain individuals in time like this but it seems Anas wants to narrow the scope of the investigations and the security should not lose sight of what they know how to do best in time like this.
