Voting is underway in polling stations where the biometric verification of voters could not be completed by the prospective voters in the queue on Friday.
It would be recalled that the Electoral Commission after the close of polls on Friday directed that voting should continue in all polling stations where the biometric verification of voters could not be completed.
A statement signed by Mr K. Sarfo-Kantanka, Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Operations said in places where election materials arrived very late, voting should continue on Saturday.
It said the move was to give all affected person the opportunity to vote.
It therefore asked presiding officers to arrange with the police for the safe custody of all ballot boxes and election materials.
