Head of Electoral Affairs for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign team, Peter Mac Manu says his team will put up a united front to achieve a historic result in the December 7 presidential election.
He said the team's only focus is to “break the 8” and ensure the new Patriotic Party continues its good governance with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
NPP announced a strong line-up of top-notch members to lead the party's campaign ahead of the December 7 presidential and Parliamentary election
The team consists of prominent figures within the party including former President John Agyekum Kufuor and current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
They are to steer the campaign for the forthcoming elections to ensure a win for their flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Under the guidance of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former National Chairman Freddie Blay, and former Campaign Manager, Peter Mac Manu, the NPP aims to strategise effectively and mobilise support across the country.
However, many believe the line-up of the top political figures within the NPP may trigger an internal mishap of seniority and authority.
But, Mr Peter Mac Manu in an interview with Joy News said the team was “carefully” selected for the purpose.
“We only have one objective and that is to break the 8. We want to win for a third time and make history in this country. The democratic journey must continue with the NPP in power. All the people in the campaign team share that objective so there are not going to be any differences. We aim to win,” he said.
