Peace FM can confirm that, the Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Abdul Rahman Musah, has passed away. He died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital today, Thursday, August 27, 2009 following heart related problems.
The General Secretary, Nana Ohene Ntow confirmed the unfortunate news to Peace FM. The late Alhaji Musah served as the Second Vice Chairman of the party for almost four years. He was formerly the Third Vice Chairman of the Party.
The demise of Hawa Yakubu, who used to be the First Vice Chairman of the NPP, caused the NPP to move Agnes Okudzeto, who initially was the Second Vice Chairman, to the First Vice-Chairmanship position. This also paved way for Alhaji Abdul Rahman Musah, to be moved to the Second Vice Chairman post.
