Ukraine-based defender Daniel Addo believes the national Under-23 team hold the aces to beat Nigeria in the All Africa Games qualifier this weekend.
The Black Meteors tackle the Dream Team on Sunday 26 June in the first leg of the last qualifying round in Benin State. There is a growing sense of confidence in the team after head coach Akwasi Appiah called up a strong squad that is currently training at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Addo, 21, a member of the Fifa Under-20 World Cup winning team, is optimistic they can scale the hurdle. Its going to very tough but I look at the players in camp and it gives me massive hope that well win the game, he said.
Both countries have been perennial rivals over the years and the game is not going to be any different but we need to qualify for the game in Maputo.
