The United Front Party, UFP, will go to congress on the 29th of this month to elect a new flagbearer to replace Akwasi Adei, who was dismissed by the National Executive Committee of the party for allegedly forging signatures of the executives.
At the close of nomination on the 10th of this month, a businessman and former National Chairman of the party, Kwaku Owusu Antwi, was the only person to have picked nomination forms.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, the National Chairman of UFP, Nana Agyenim Boateng said since Mr. Owusu Antwi is the only aspirant; he will be elected at the Takoradi Congress by popular acclamation.
