President Mahama says his campaign team has uncovered plans by the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to publish what he describes as lies and falsehood in an attempt to defame him ahead of Fridays presidential and parliamentary.
The publications, according to the president, will be distributed on leaflets and carried in newspapers beginning Monday.
Addressing a rally at Gbawe in Accra on Saturday, President Mahama said he is unfazed by attempts to defame him since he is confident Ghanaians will give the National Democratic Congress (NDC) another four years in government to continue the Better Ghana agenda.
He admonished his supporters to eschew violence and insults, positing that he is sure of victory in the December 7 polls.
President Mahama indicated that those who staring defeat in the face re those plotting such diabolic plans to tarnish the hard won reputation of successful people.
