Information rife to peacefmonline.com indicates that President of Benin Republic, Thomas Yaya Boni is currently in the country having bilateral talks with President elect, John Dramani Mahama.
Yaya Boni who is also the Chairman of the Africa Union (AU) is set to also interact with former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor as well as Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Meanwhile, President elect Mahama will also be addressing NDC party supporters who have already thronged the Obra Spot of Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Accra to thank them for voting for him and assure them of his commitment to continue with the 'Better Ghana' Agenda.
President elect Mahama who was the incumbent President was declared winner of the December 2012 general election by the Chairman of the Electoral Commission Dr. Kojo Afari Gyan on Sunday evening at a press conference held at the Head office of the Electoral Commission in Accra.
He polled 5,574,761 of the valid votes cast, representing 50.70 per cent while Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the NPP polled 5,248, 898 of the votes, representing 47.74 per cent.
