Pressure group, the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) is asking the President to intervene and ensure a speedy trial of the Woyome judgement debt case.
State prosecutors have over the last few weeks failed to produce key witnesses in court. Mr. Woyome who is standing trial for the 51 million cedi judgment debt saga has expressed frustration over the delay.
A leading member of AFAG Dr. Nana Afriyie who shared similar sentiments told XYZ News that indications clearly show the Attorney General is unwilling to prosecute Mr. Woyome.
It is worrying...through the case we have always been worried about the A-G harbouring such intentions of the unwillingness not to prosecute Woyome.
