Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of the Navrongo campus, University for Development Studies, have pledged their unflinching support and allegiance to the President and the National Democratic Congress in championing the Better Ghana agenda.
The students gave the assurance in a press statement read by Mr Kofi Antoh, Propaganda Secretary of the Network, in Navrongo to express their gratitude to the President for nominating Mr Mark Woyongo, former Upper East Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, as Defence minister-designate.
Mr Antoh said the students were also grateful to the Defence minister-designate for his hard work and dedication to duty and prayed for God's blessings for him in his new position.
He thanked Mr Woyongo for the advice and encouragement he gave them each time he met the students.
�We would like to thank Honourable Mark Owen Woyongo for his counseling and encouragement extended to us, the youth of the region, any time he met us,� he added.
He assured President Mahama of their readiness to support the NDC and their preparedness to serve the party�s interest.
