A member of the NPP communication team, Nana Fredua Ofori Atta has expressed concerned over the way and manner in which Nana Ato Dadzie, a counsel for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been maliciously misleading its party members with his comments after each court proceedings.

According to him, the NDC over-express ecstasy in court and misconstrue court proceedings and it clearly shows in their cross-examination.

“The NDC in court express some sort of happiness and lies to pollute the public. They use verbal antics and un-existing words just to frighten the witness. Lawyer Ato Dadzie is one of such people and I pity him very well. Where his level of standard is in this country, he shouldn’t be doing certain things to tarnish his reputation.

“..If you listen to him (Nana Ato Dadzie) and compare him to Lawyer Gloria Akufo, there is a vast difference. He was saying Dr. Bawumia is vacillating in the witness box, what is really the meaning of that? Is that what is going on in the court? Translation of activities in the court is vacillation? Or he just like the English word vacillation and want to use it? Ato Dadzie as a lawyer is setting a bad precedent for his party members to emulate,” he said.

He however claimed all NDC members communicating on the court proceedings are not helping the party since their explanations are not exactly what transpires in court.

Speaking on Asempa FM, the NPP man sought to ask “why, does President Mahama want to act as the Electoral Commissioner? Lawyer Tony Lithur is representing President Mahama and all his questions during his cross-examination were that of the Electoral Commissioner (EC). President Mahama was never indicted of election fraud, he was the beneficiary so that is why he is in court but not the Electoral Commissioner who declared the 2012 election results”.
