The Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has asked if the National security is attempting to tamper with the pink sheets being audited as ordered by the Supreme Court, after they were unsuccessful in a similar attempt to prevent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from collating and analyzing the pink sheets before filling the petition.
it is the same National Security that sent armed soldiers and police, when NPP were putting together pink sheets. When young men and women, including pastors and people from the Diaspora were putting together 24,000 pink sheets, they attacked them, they raided the place.
With some very foolish excuse, forgive my face but with some very foolish excuse that, they heard that guns were being taken to the place and they raided the place. Is the colour and pinks sheets the same?
Have you seen a pink gun before?...so really if you look at it, if they couldnt stop you from collating and analyzing the pink sheets then people may begin to think that now are they trying to stop the court from counting? he asked.
Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko said this on Citi FMs Big Issues on Saturday, after two operatives of the National Security last week went to the Judicial Secretary of the Judicial service seeking to be allowed access to the famous pink sheets at the centre of the Presidential election dispute.
According to him, the National Security was not invited and therefore had no business asking to have access to the pink sheets and called on them to go about their duties with circumspection.
