The 2012 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Thursday told party supporters he was in better health than he left Ghana on June 4, 2013 for medical examination abroad.
But he was grateful for all who prayed for his well-being, which prayer he said strengthened and encouraged him to continue the task of prosecuting the uncompleted Supreme Court petition to overturn the outcome of the 2012 presidential election.
Nana Addo who was addressing NPP supporters at the party headquarters in Accra since his return Wednesday evening from the UK medical trip, said he was sure God had something good in store for the party and urged followers to keep faith with him.
He said doctors had approved of his health and that he was hopeful the party will be offered the mandate to steer the affairs of the nation and better the lot of the citizenry.
Nana Addo and his co-petitioners return to the Supreme Court on Monday to continue with the hearing of their petition challenging the outcome of the 2012 election.
They want the court to annul over four million votes for alleged malpractices and irregularities.
