The Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, President John Mahama, is about to replace the current top brass of the countrys security apparatus.

Expected to be appointed to take over from the old guards are very experienced security operatives who have distinguished themselves in the security set up of the country for many years.

The army, police and CEPS have already witnessed shake-up at senior-most level. The military witnessed a shake-up soon after the President was sworn in to office on January 7, 2013 while the Police Service saw the extension of services of IGP Mohammed Alhassan and the appointment of new Regional Commander. There were other appointment as well.

Last week, CEPS witnessed a shake-up. The Ghana Immigration Service, Fire Service and the Prison Service are yet to have a change guard at the very top. The expected shake up of the top brass of Ghanas security apparatus will definitely see some taking a bow from the country's security apparatus.
