As the New Patriotic Party prepares for Sunday’s congress, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman ‘Wontumi’, has saved party delegates from being misled by their General Secretary.

Delegates in the Ashanti Region were initially directed by the party's General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong to use the Tech Community Centre as the official venue for voting.

But from investigations conducted by Peacefmonline.com, it appears no arrangements have been made by the National Executives and authorities of the facility. When executives of the party in the Ashanti Region visited the venue to make inquiries, they were told no one had paid for it.

Prior to this, Mr. Agyepong had communicated to them that they would be using the Tech Community Centre as the official venue.

To put matters to rest and ensure the voting comes on, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako personally paid for a new venue- and as it stands now, delegates are expected t use the College of Engineering Auditorium as their new polling centre.

Below were the Voting Centres Mr. Agyepong communicated to the party delegates

Ashanti Region - Community Centre not a valid centre now

Brong Ahafo Region – Catholic Pastoral Centre, Sunyani;

Northern Region – Tamale Stadium, Tamale;

Upper East Region – VAG Hall, Bolgatanga;

Upper West – GNAT Hall, Wa

Greater Accra – Osu Salem Park, Accra

Central Region – Pampanasie Hotel, Cape Coast

Western – GNAT Hall,

Eastern – Oyinka Hotel, Koforidua

Volta – Skyplus Hotel, Ho
