NPP Member of Parliament for Tema East Constituency, Daniel Nii Kwatei Titus-Glover has been stopped from voting in the on-going party’s delegates elections.

According to the NPP MP, he had gone to the Osu Center to cast a proxy ballot for MP for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo who is out of the country but was stopped from casting the vote by the Electoral Commission officials.

However, Mr. Glover opined that, Adwoa Safo personally nominated him to cast the vote on her behalf but some party leadership want to sabotage him.

“I am totally shocked at this is happening. Adwoa gave my name to the Electoral Commissioners and party officials, and they [EC] know I am the one to vote for her. I smell some mischief”

Speaking on Madina-base Oman FM, Hon Titus Glover vehemently said that, despite the attempt by the EC officials not to allow him to vote, he will do so “no matter what”.

“Trust me, I will cast Adwoa Safo’s vote. No one can stop me from doing that. I have received clearance from Joseph Ayikoi Otoo [Coordinator of the elections committee] to do so already…so I don’t know why they don’t want me to do that” he noted
