A group calling itself the "Young Executives Force of Ghana" of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has extended its felicitations to the National Council of the party for conducting a peaceful Super Delegates Conference.
The group congratulated the aspirants and the entire National Executives body of the party for holding the congress in a "civilized manner" despite the upheaval that sprung up prior to the elections.
"We Young Executives Force of Ghana wish to congratulate the National Executives, National Council, Aspirants and all who made the just ended special electoral conference of the New Patriotic Party a success.
"...We are joyous because it was not characterized with violence even though we admit the notable transgression of some few delegates particularly those who are supposed to know better."
Spokesperson for the group, Kissi Yeboah in a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com urged the four aspirants in the flagbearership race to conduct their campaign strategies "in utmost decorous manner devoid of insinuations, aspersions" and also advised them not to engage in any act that may cause mayhem "just to score voting points" in the party.
They further called on the aspirants to exhibit humility and hard work as they gear up for the Congress on October 18th this year.
