Volunteers for New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in Shama Constituency in the Western Region, on Sunday declared their unwavering support the candidate during the October 18, primaries of the party.
This Volunteering group would work to ensure that Nana Addo gets a 100 per cent vote and win particularly in the Shama constituency and the Region at large, Mr Joseph Koomson, Party Leader of the Fishermen Friends of Nana Akufo Addo said.
He said although fishermen and farmers continue to be the bedrock of the countrys growth, they are most of the time sidelined.
He said the victory of Nana Akufo Addo in the primaries and the subsequent victory in 2016 general election would ensure that the needs of ordinary Ghanaians are properly taken care of.
We are therefore going to work extra hard to get the NPP back to power come 2016.
Mr Joseph Garbrah, Convener of the Volunteer Group said messages from the grassroots in the constituency prompted him to form the association to electrify support for the two time presidential candidate of the party.
Mr Garbrah, also a former parliamentary candidate for Shama said Ghanaians need a saviour like Nana Akufo to redeem the country from its current economic difficulties.
