Mr George Kumi, a former Ghana's Ambassador to Libya, has said Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo deserved the last chance to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in the 2016 presidential elections.
Describing the NPPs 2008 and 2012 presidential candidate as a strong pillar in election 2016, the former Ambassador pointed out he fortunes of the NPP would be higher if Nana Akufo-Addo was given the mandate to lead the Party again.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview, Mr Kumi emphasized that the Party would find it extremely difficult to regain power if Nana Akufo-Addo was replaced with any of the two other candidates.
He observed many Ghanaians had understood the political tolerance and maturity exhibited by Nana Akufo-Addo in the 2012 elections, and that alone could woo floating voters to the NPP for victory 2016.
