Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated in a response to Alan Kyerematen’s press aide Chief Obosu Mohammed, that he is determined in a “camp-blind” manner, to assemble all the talents in the NPP so that the party can realise the great task of mobilising the overwhelming majority of the Ghanaian people for victory in 2016.

According to the flag bearer, just as his contender Alan said “after competition comes co-operation” so, he is confident the party will come out stronger and united for the 2016 elections despite political pundits warning that the NPP risk losing if the infighting is not nipped in the bud.

Nana Addo further stated that, genuinely working together as a team would help the NPP rise again as they struggle together for the redemption of the people of Ghana.

The NPP big wig was also glad that the Press Aide also supported his choice of running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and as well assured that members of the party would be educated on voting and voting process after the high numbers in rejected ballots.

The National Chairman of the party before the elections also stated that “We call on the unsuccessful ones and their supporters to fully and unconditionally support the winner”

The NPP therefore believes that winning power from the NDC who they describe as creating a bleak future for Ghanaians in 2016 is a must.

With the latest Olive branch, NPP rank and file to unite firmly behind their flagbearer.
