The yuletide season served as a period for members of the New Patriotic Party to unite and dispose off any faction that might hinder their electoral progress in 2016.

Through the collaborative effort of Dr. Amoako Tuffour and the partys Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, candidates who contested Nana Akufo Addo for the flagbearer post were brought to gather to wine and dine.

The unity party was organized at the residence of Dr. Amoako Tuffour in Kumasi and the gathering witnessed top-notch members who submissively showed their eagerness to support Nana Addo despite kicking against his candidature in the past.

Present at the gathering was Dr. Richard Anane, Dr. Issac Osei, Dr. Konadu Apraku and uncountable senior members who showed up for unity sake.

When Peacefmonline.com contacted Dr. Amoako Tuffour to shed more light on the unity move, he reported that as 2016 approaches, every disgruntled member of the NPP must approached and brought on board to ensure everyone plays a role in their victory.

He further revealed that the forum served as a platform for the entire guest to also contribute towards the development of the party. Dr. Richard Anane, according to him significantly donated fifty boxes of water and soft drinks whilst others gave out fine wines.

He finally added that Mr. Kyeremanten and Mr. Kwadwo Mpaini personally apologized for not making it although they delegated people to represent them.
