Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo says he regrets ever making the infamous ‘All die be die comment ahead of the 2012 general election.

Conceding that the statement might have contributed to his defeat, he indicated that he will choose his words carefully if given a second chance.

Nana Addo speaking on Starr FM said the statement was twisted to achieve various political effects and hence was not happy about that.

Nana Addo's infamous 'All die be die' statement became a major talking point in the 2012 Elections after he was alleged to have been caught on tape inciting NPP supporters.

This was given various meanings by his opponents especially the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) who used it on their platforms to campaign against him.

Nana Addo beleives this contributed to his defeat.
