Mr. Yaw Michael Kessy, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has declared the party will remain in opposition until Thy Kingdom come due to the selfish interest of its members.

Individual selfish interests he claimed have become impediments making it difficult for Nana Akufo-Addo to win power for the party. Mr. Kessey stated that the NPP is its own worst enemy and described individual elements within the party who casts all manner of insinuations at party leaders as wolfs in sheep skin who preached peace but practice vice.

In an article published in several media, Mr. Kessey asserted that some party gurus reveal the party’s election strategies to its opponents in order to end the Presidential Ambition of Nana Akufo Addo in the 2016 polls.

He also cautioned party members who speak their minds publicly on developments in the NPP to change from their honest but painful objective criticisms because they would also be measured with the same rod in future saying “the rod that was used to hit Tachie is the rod that will be used to hit Baah someday.”

The NPP loyalist who sounded very prophetic in the said article on the divine choice of Nana Akufo Addo over others said there is time for everything and that Nana Addo was the luckiest among the lot to be given the God-sent opportunity to lead the NPP once again into the 2016 general elections against the ruling NDC.

Mr. Yaw Michael Kessey admitted there is tension between followers of the flag bearer and the followers of former president John Agyekum Kufuor and urged both sides to close their ranks.

According to him, Nana Akufo Addo has been made by some party members through their false accusations to look like the autocrat Idi Amin and at the same time being offered to Ghanaians to buy for the 2016 elections.
