A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Otchere-Darko Tuesday claimed that shots were fired at him at Talensi, where a by-election was ongoing.
There were reports of sporadic clashes between youth groups of the NPP and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Commenting on Twitter, Gabby said: "I just got shot @ by drive-pass gang in pickup. 12 shots fired at us in front of NPP office, with soldiers nearby. No injuries."
