Fred Agbenyo, Deputy Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) says government's Better Ghana Agenda is in progress.
Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Fred Agbenyo assured Ghanaians that President John Mahama and his government have not lost track on the Better Ghana Agenda that they promised the Ghanaian citizenry.
However, to him, just as Rome was not built in a day; Ghana's transformation cannot equally happen in a day.
Though he believed in the government's promise to its people, he prayed the nation to wait because it will take time for the government to transform the economy.
Fred Agbenyo was hopeful the Better Ghana Agenda by the ruling party will sure manifest as time goes on.
“We said we’re going to transform this country. Transformation doesn’t come in a day. It takes time to transform the people. It takes time to transform society. But eventually the target that we have set for ourselves, I have great hope that we will reach there.”
