Fred Agbenyo has descended heavily on the leadership and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over what he terms as the party's "sickening self-righteous" character.
He expressed strong disgust at the NPP's arrogant posture on national issues.
According to him, the NPP leadership thinks they're superior to all Ghanaians and their thoughts must be taken as final authority on national issues.
"You think all of us must sleep when you cough. You think that you’re more important. We’re not governing this country by the NPP’s constitution…Ghana is more important than just your party and your party members for you to think that your party leadership, when you cough; everybody must go to bed," he fumed.
Making his submissions on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Fred Agbenyo believed the NPP apparently is intolerable about opinions that dissent to their principles and tenets.
He strongly cautioned the NPP, stating emphatically that "nobody will go to bed because NPP thinks that we must act in a particular way. You’re not more important than anybody in this country. This country belongs to all of us…Superiority complex!”
