George Boateng has been called names some believe he is Mad, others insist he is a serious person with a sound mind but his possible competitor, President John Mahama has never uttered a word to take too lightly Georges determination to be included in the presidential primaries.
That shows maturity when politics is your profession NPPs Sir John will always say Fear delegates that is to say fear electorates.
Whereas the NDCs Chief Scribe, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah is publicly questioning his partys Oyarifa Branch Youth Organizers mental status to contest as a president on the ticket of the Umbrella party some aides of President Mahama are secretly in talks with George to amicably solve issues with him.
The strong-willed presidential aspirant made this known on NEAT FM morning show 'Ghana Montie' - according to him, President Mahama is yet to personally call him but his aides are doing negotiations on his behalf.
The president hasnt called me, but people close to the president were asked to pick me up for discussion. I will not disclose the person [but he is a minister] now but I will surely do that when the need arise.
..We will be meeting again...The person told me the president would like to meet me but I dont know when, he told host Kwasi Aboagye.
George Boateng who claims the president wants him to drop his ambition says I will not step down for him [President Mahama] despite the fruitful conversation with his aide.
To him he will only step aside for the President under some conditions The president must sack all his corrupt ministers and change the face of Ghanas ailing economy. Again he must reduce petrol price. Until that, I am not backing out.
