The 2012 flagbearer of the Progressive People's Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom and wife Mrs Nduom have donated a set of furniture worth Gh 5,500 cedis to the Elmina District Police Command Post at Atabadze on Friday as part of their contribution to equipping the unit to function effectively.
This comes in the wake of an appeal by the Unit for furniture to ease smooth operations.
Dr. Nduom, President of Groupe Nduom (a Multi-National Company), noted that the donation to the Elmina District Police Command Post at Atabadze is one of the numerous "beneficial Package" GN has in store for the Police Unit at Elmina. He added the expansion of GN in the area requires the police to be properly equipped to handle the situation, hence the donation.
Receiving the donation, the Elmina Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Godfred Asare expressed his gratitude to Dr. Nduom and his wife for their philanthropic act.
