The Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen, says it is wrong for any authority to limit vigilante groups to only those in active politics.
According to him on GBC's radio – the idea of tagging those groups to politicians must be discounted.
He argued that - there is nowhere in the constitution that political parties or civil society groups or even Ministers of state are restricted from having security or body guards.
The NPP man is also not possible to identify such groups let alone ban them – after many calls that such forces must be eradicated.
