The Appointments Committee of Parliament, chaired by Ebo Barton-Odro, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, will today [Monday], vet three Ministers-designate nominated by the President in last month’s Ministerial reshuffle.
The MP for Bongo, Albert Abongo, who has been nominated as the Upper East Regional Minister, will be the first to appear before the Committee.
He will be followed by Kwaku Ricketts Hagan, who is heading to the Central Regional as Regional Minister, and Nii Lante Vanderpuije who is headed for the Sports Ministry.
The second batch of nominees expected to appear before the committee on Tuesday, February 9 include, Mr. Prosper Douglas Bani, Minister Designate for the Ministry of the Interior and Ms. Mavis Ama Frimpong, Regional Minister Designate for the Eastern Region.
On Wednesday, the final batch of ministers to be vetted are Regional Minister-Designate for the Northern Region, Abdallah Abubakari, and John Alexander Ackon, Regional Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region
