We wish to advice the president and the leadership of our party to be cautious of the groups, organizations and individuals they select or sponsor to campaign for the party in the upcoming 2016 elections.

We have gathered credible information that certain elements within the NDC and even some sympathizers of the opposition parties are sending in proposals for sponsorships to campaign for the NDC in the 2016 election because they perceive the president as someone desperate to hang onto political power.

We want to caution the leadership of our party that most of such groups are fake and are only coming to take advantage of our fervent wish to retain power.

The information our group Victory for Mahama, has gathered is that there are certain elements within the NDC who believe President Mahama would dole out hefty amount of money to support any group which wants to campaign for him without doing a background check.

We have credible facts that such persons with this mischievous perception doubt the party’s chance of retaining power this year. They believe the president hasn’t done much and are bent on using foul means to make much worth for themselves by deceiving him and his group about campaign strategies.

We have to be weary as a party and not just throw money at people who don't believe in the victory of our party. We should also not waste time people who are only going to gather their so called 'last money' for the fear that we might lose the next election.

Some of such groups are believed to have names, like Zongo for Mahama, JM 4 2016, Grassroots for Mahama etc.

Also, let's commit funds or sponsor groups and individuals who trust in the victory of the NDC.
